The location is marvellous, not far from trams and buses with a short walk to Piccadilly Gardens China Town and Museums, free metro link and can be reached from - couldn't be better. Btw, it's so close to Manchester Piccadilly.
Views are not very good.

Recommend it for families visiting
The staff were amazing particularly a man on the nightshift. Our room was super clean and tidy upon arrival and breakfast was cooked just right with any errors they made quickly fixed.
It wasn't inexpensive but still acceptable given the quality.

The hotel is excellently placed for Picaddily Station and the town centre. The Manchester City Stadium is walkable, and for those who are willing to step out a little further you can reach Castlefield and the Science Museum. The bed was vast, comfortable and warm, and, despite having a road facing room, the windows (closed) reduced traffic and late night drunken reveller noise to a tolerable level. (Mind you, it was a Tuesday night).
A small point but an irritation. I am only a youngster of 53, but in all my life until this stay, taps have all worked in the same direction whatever the design or country. Here the cold basin tap (only) works the opposite way to evry other tap I have ever used. This means that every time you turn it off, you actually turn it on fully. It is a bit like driving for 35 years, and then setting off in a car where the brake and accelerator are reversed. Luckily, the basin contains the, sudden flow, unlike some designs, which would fire the fast flowing water down the front of your trousers. The tap designer must be an over artistic lunatic!

Location is excellent. The building and architecture is very handsome. The downstairs bar area is very nicely done. The bar grill was overall not bad and reasonably priced. The bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very nice.
The superior room wasn't, in my opinion, superior and based upon what we paid didn't provide good value. Bathroom luxuries were a bar of soap / shower gel.
